Chapter 11

 

 Arnav heart was beating faster, the hand was holding the resignation letter he Can't get the reason for khushi's doing . Arnav made a call for asking about khushi, she was ordered to enter the cabin were arnav is ready by drinking a glass of water to calm his nervous and pretended to be anger.  It was a man who entered the cabin with the information of khushi's missing in her table. Arnav mind worked fast, and he opened his laptop to search the CCTV camera, his worst fear came true, khushi meet rahul first.  He shouted at aman to get lost, bcz he wants to see and hear their both conversation. 

Khushi left the cabin after keeping the resignation letter at the view point of arnav, still deep inside her heart somewhere it tells arnav won't do such things, but when she thinks about ASR, she knew she has to take precaution steps.  She was moving out from the office without anyone's knowledge, but she gets caught by her old friend, who once loved old khushi. Rahul had tears in his eyes by looking at the person who accidentally pumped on him, he can't believe his eyes in everyday life he used pray for khushi well being and asked god to make them both meet.  He knew she can see him in TV, so only in every program he used to mention his special friend, who he wishes to meet and thank that particular friend.  The over welcome feeling of meeting our loved ones after so many years will take over our mind and will make us to do which our heart always wants to do, it's a hug.  That was rahul did at the exact moment, he came and hugged khushi in front of everyone, he started to blabber about how much he searched for her, and she is the reason for his successful life and so on. Khushi tried to remove herself from rahul grip, but she was not successful, finally she pushed rahul away from her and covered her right shoulder with her saree pally. Rahul was shocked by this action, that was the moment he registered khushi's outfit,the sparkling face,the colorful dress, bangles, bindi, speaking eyes is gone, the meaning for khushi is completely gone. 

Khushi excused herself from the crowd and ran in some direction where people was not present. Rahul who was standing with the confused face , asked the surrounding person, they told the truth about khushi what they know. Rahul followed khushi's direction after hearing the little story about khushi, he can't get his mind by knowing she is in this stage and blaming him for not finding her soon. He followed khushi's direction which leads him to enter the conference room, the room was dark, but he can see a figure is sitting in the chair and crying. Rahul took a baby step towards khushi, the sound from his mouth echoes the whole room. Khushi wiped her tears by hearing rahul voice, she smiled genuinely by looking at rahul, it's been very long time of meeting an old friend. 

Rahul was staring at khushi for a long time, he has no heart to dig deep her wound, so he has no intention of asking her past. Rahul opened his mouth and called her nickname, by hearing that khushi giggled like a school girl. Rahul felt relax by knowing his old khushi is still inside it only need little push to bring that out. "Oi holi” that was the name given to khushi by rahul, it has lots of sweet memories for both. Rahul took the chair near khushi and made her also to sit in her old chair, rahul spoke proudly about him as the new AR model. Khushi shook her head by hearing his self praise, she even laughed loud by hearing his fan love letter. Rahul told Khushi to come and work for him when Khushi informed about her resignation and that's the exact moment both clearly heard ASR voice at the entrance.    

She entered arnav cabin with the fear, the anger in his face is well shown which made khushi to shiver. Arnav throws the resignation letter at her feet and started shouting but Khushi didn't utter a word, her only replies was "she needs to resign the job". Arnav pushed his sitting chair to give him space for marching towards khushi, he held her both shoulder in his firm hand and shook it like an uduku by shouting”are you planning to go and work with rahul, is he giving more money than me?”. Khushi bite her lips for controlling the voice due to the pain given by arnav but her tears gave away, when arnav registered what he is doing, he removed his hand and asked sorry.  Khushi looked at arnav with the tears face and said “I need my letter to be signed sir”,Arnav controlled his anger and said in the thorning tone “can I know the reason for your resignation miss khushi?” The caption given to refer Khushi remained her that arnav knows, she was not married. khushi started to fumble with saree pallu, arnav eyes got that action which she always does whenever she is in nervous. Arnav know this is the chance, and he started to put pressure on her more to tell the reason about resignation letter. 

Khushi didn't answer, but she recalled the conversation with anjali and nani which took place this morning when she was in the temple. At first by looking at them she feared they will shout at her from hurting arnav in the name of love but to her surprise Anjali di and her Nani both invited Khushi to their home on Sunday for the dinner, they both didn't hear khushi's refusal and told they want to ask sorry for arnav behavior. So, if she forgave them she has to come for the dinner with Amrita.  Khushi was brought back by the snap sound of arnav finger, Khushi told Arnav about the temple incident and her uninterested in Sunday plan, so she asked arnav to reject the invite in her favor.  Arnav smirked and told “he is not the one to mix profession with personal life, if they both invited her then it's their headache and your headache, not mine”. Arnav remained her about company policy, if a resignation is without a proper reason then the person has to provide 1 lakh rupees to the management. “If she still needs to leave the job then, she has to start preparing the money, and he is ready to sign her resignation letter” by telling that he moved away from that place.while walking away he scolded himself for losing the golden opportunity to meet khushi this morning and also mentally thanked di and nani for creating a next opportunity.

The days are rolling well, to arnav dislike rahul sticks to khushi like a glue even though it's he who gave the model shooting assignment to khushi.  He knows khushi see's him as friend, so only he gave this assignment to her by hoping she will stick in the job, but it's rahul who is disturbing Arnav even in the dream. On the Saturday afternoon the clash between titans occurred, arnav and rahul were fighting to take khushi for outdoor shooting, it was then khushi stepped in to stop the fight. Khushi came to know the crowd around photo shoot room, so she hurried herself to the spot to her luck everyone can only witness but can't hear what's their argument about due to the glass wall. She excused herself and marched inside the room and saw both of them in the heated argument and also the crowd started to video shoot in the cell phone. She tried her level best in raising her voice but it was out of reach by the other two she used herself to push both of them apart and spoke calmly to tell the reason for their argument. arnav tried to explain the office rule "that model has no rights to take his employee for outdoor shooting", again rahul raised his voice and told" he is taking his khushi out not his so-called employee”. By lot of struggle khushi gave rest to both of them, but it was rahul who started again and both didn't stop this time, khushi who was looking back and forth lost her temper at the end and twisted both of them ears to stop the argument. Both guys felt the pain, so they begged khushi to leave their ears by holding her hands to stop from twisting, but she is a no mode she started shouting at them for behaving like a kindergarten children. When khushi looked at arnav, he had a Mischief smile in his eyes then only khushi realized what she is doing, abruptly left their ears and opened her mouth wider. She took a step back from both of them by covering her mouth with hands and looked around for an escape route then only her eyes fall on their colleagues, who was standing outside had their mouth opened like khushi by looking at the incident. 

Sunday came and like arnav was expecting khushi and Amrita came, it was fun filled day for everyone, expect arnav not even in his wildest dream arnav didn't imagine he will be this much possessive and that too he will lock someone in the bathroom. The day started pleasantly from morning arnav eagerness increased, but he did not show to other, secretly he went to kitchen for checking the dishes and asked the server to clean his room and the pool area, fruits are ordered and gift for Amrita was also ready. Sun started to settle and happiness in arnav face was well shown when anjali inquired about that he told it's a new face wash. The happiness is converted into killing mood by looking at rahul in his house before khushi arrival, then he burned ash in the ashes with his eyes after knowing it's he who invited rahul for dinner. He wants to bang his head for having the buffoon as a brother. All the people in the house sitting and enjoying to the comedy a rahul and Amrita was sitting near him, arnav brought lakshmi, the goat to bring Amrita to his side and it was also successful. The happiness was short-lived when rahul took the topic about arnav marriage and khushi was also joined in the line to wish him to get married. Arnav felt pain by hearing khushi's word, but he hides it well in ASR mood and to his dismay he also given permission to his sister for looking the suitable bride, it was the shocking information bcz he can't remember nodding the head to his sister. Khushi laughed and enjoyed the dinner while leaving she touched nani and anjali's feet as to ask sorry.
