Chapter 5

 

Khushi mingled with anjali, nani and mami. She liked all of them in the house in the short time, and she also got to know their heart, which wants arnav to be present at the function. , but they know he won't do it because he lost the interest in the God. Khushi felt sad because she was the own reason for losing faith in God. The time was running late for the function to start but the boy who was supposed to act as a Krishna had not arrived due to his stomach pain, so he was not able to attend the function. Nani and Anjali asked about the photo in Khushi mobile, she answered that it's her daughter, Amrita. Anjali asked Khushi to bring her daughter in the replacement of the absent child. Khushi gave in after looking at Anjali puppy dog eyes, and she was relieved because arnav won't be here till the function complete. She brought her daughter and also the makeup kit which she borrowed from other children near her house. Kushi want to take amrita out and enjoy the outside world, but her fear stopped her from doing so, amrita's dadi will take her nearby park every day when kushi is in office. Amrita is a naughty kid, who do all lot of trouble in the house. 

Amrita is her world she always return home by 7 to her daughter only. Amrita is almost three years old child but she is opposite to Khushi's present character. Amrita happily entered the big house and amazed to see the light decorations and lots of children who had dressed pretty. Amrita wrapped all the people in the house around her finger particular Nani . Anjali liked his own daughter and decorated Amrita as Lord Krishna with her own hand. Khushi refused to enter the temple area and was stand outside or staying at the far end of the house. After Anjali finishing the decorating she brought amrita in front of Khushi by looking at cute little Krishna standing in front of her made her she hugged and cried. Khushi was living this life as a punishment but she will put all the colorful things in her daughter life. 

After the puja got over Amrita was very bored and want to eat something, so she took some sweets in her hand and moved without anyone looking. She Slowly climbed the steps without making any noise, and she entered one room which was already opened. Then she sat comfortably on the bed and spread the sweets which she took from the plate. She pushed one by one in her mouth then she heard some sound and was happily shocked to see a beautiful white goat with lots of decorations. Amrita forgot the sweet and moved towards the goat, when the goat stared to go backwards she showed her hand which has sweets in the palm towards goat. When goat started to eat from her hand she giggled and waited till the goat finished. Amrita sat down with the goat and started talking with the goat happily and giggle by the replay she got from the goat while doing, so she forgot to see one person also watching her with the amusement eyes. Arnav was back 5 minutes threw the back entrance to his room, he is not comfortable with the lots of crowds in his house. So he came to the room without anyone watching and want to relax or maybe he wants to see Khushi but when he entered the room he heard giggling sound he was surprised to see a little girl is feeding the goat. 

Arnav felt anger by looking at the sweets which is spread on the bed and ants were eating it, he throws out and started shouting at the girl but amrita was damn angry because he throws all the sweets which she kept for her and goat. Arnav asked her name and what she is doing in the room? . Amrita refused to answer him and was staring at the arnav by keeping her hand on both side of the hip. "My mom had told that I shouldn't talk with stranger" told politely and started to move out of the room. Amrita called goat also to come with her but goat refused to move. Arnav smirked and sat down while calling the goat by its name "Lakshmi" by hearing its name goat went towards Arnav. Arnav smirked turned in to full-blown smile when he heard her name is Amrita. By looking at the custom he knew she was one of the girls who his sister had invited for the function. Arnav slowly started to have the conversation with the kids he liked this kit because her talkative nature remained him the old Khushi. Amrita was living with his mother and dadi, she loves going to the play school and her mother has lots of roses pots which does not have any flower only leaves and thorns. She hates that because her friend Pinky daily used to bring roses which is blooming in her house, so amrita also want rose to bloom in her house. 

Khushi was searching for her daughter she moved her eyes from amrita while giving sweets to the children with that gap she went missing it's now more than 10 minutes, that time is enough to create any problem. She moved to the garden for looking, there she saw gardener siting in the chair she went back and bought some sweets God Prasad for him. Arnav dad looked at the girl in front of him who is giving the plate full of sweets, something in him pulled him towards this girl, he took it and gave blessings of happiness in her life. Khushi looked at the old man and gave him a beautiful smile by telling "he had created the peaceful small world". Khushi entered back to the house there she saw her daughter taking Apple from the fruit's basket without anyone notices and by looking at her mother Amrita dropped the sweets and fruits down she explained that she is not taking it for her it's for her friend. When Khushi gave a stern look Amrita slowly took the things which she dropped and went back to the place to keep the things. khushi went to Anjali and said that it's time they go home. Anjali was not happy because the day came to end she want to spend some time with Amrita, they had a lot of fun by making her to pronounce a words, with her kid voice and speaking language made lots of laughter and Anjali had happy tears. Anjali took Amrita to nani for saying goodbye, khushi made her way back and started packing amrita old dress in a bag and moved towards the entrance where she planned to stand for amrita to come. Arnav came down looking in search of Amrita because he said he is hungry and not ready to go down to the crowd, Amrita told she will bring the Apple for his tummy. When he was walking down he saw Khushi is moving out with extra bag which she was not having at the time of dropping. He thought she was stealing something, when that one thought came to his mind he felt anger because by looking at the past one month time which he spent with her , he thought Khushi was changed, but he was wrong, and she was always an old Khushi. 

Arnav came down and shouted at Khushi for stealing things from his house when Khushi shook her head in no and started saying something but Arnav cut her by saying he knows what type of girl she is, and she will never change. Everyone stopped what they are doing and looked at the both. Anjali got anger but before she can do or say anything, amrita called maa came running and hugged Khushi leg with Apple in her hand. Nani ji came and asked sorry to Khushi, but she shook her head by saying "it's ok Nanaji, this is the bag which contain Amrita old dress, and I am leaving" with the teary eyes Khushi and Amrita left the house. amrita turn and showed her toothless teeth and shouted bye to everyone and kept the apple on the side table by showing eyes to arnav. By the happy face of the kid Anjali understood Amrita didn't hear arnav shouting at Khushi. Out of all arnav was the one to get more shock amrita word register in his mind that means Khushi is the mother of the girl who he was talking in his room.
